Public Administration is one of the most popular optional subjects for the Civil services. Due to its short syllabus and overlap with other general studies papers. Paper 1 includes Origin and Development of the Subject , Administrative Theories, Organisational Behaviour, Accountability and Control, Administrative Law, Comparative Public Administration. Paper 2 Consists Evolution of Indian Administration, Constitutional setting, political executive at the union level, Central-State Relations, Public Services, State and District Administration.
